Up From the Wilderness
The bronze cloud spread its warning wing
over the arc of the sky.
Sheltering us on our journey.
A long sky, that spoke prophecies of new beginnings,
and the ending of exile.
The hazy ball of the sun in the western sky
was overshadowed by the mysteries.
Surprised by the power of the misty veil
that quenched his winter fires
and made him seem a weakling shadow.
I wanted to draw all the knowledge
from what I had seen.
To stop and let it speak all its words.
But the world was rushing by at tremendous speeds.
So I caught what I could in the palm of my hand.
