Today is a day I have been waiting for!

The only thing left to plant in the garden are the green beans, which are sprouting on my kitchen counter right now. I had promised myself that when I had taken care of the planting, I could begin the refurbishing of my little garden shelter.

I started out with pretty minimal materials and over the years kept repairing things, adding boards from around the homestead when one would fail, constantly adjusting things that weren't working etc. But through all that, it has always remained standing and intact through some truly horrendous weather.

Anyway. Today I slowly dismantled the entire thing.

Right now, I am washing all the fabric 'walls'. I probably won't finish it until tomorrow. I need to make a run to the hardware store for some hardware and some kind of clips. I need to see what they have.

It will probably LOOK very similar when I am finished, but trust me, it's going to be a lot sturdier, I hope.

Okay, it's time to re-load the washer....
