Unfocused Day
Wed Mar 26 2008

No matter how many times I check the mail, there is no camera in the mailbox.
It's a good thing I'm not a little kid.
If I were, I might have to pout.

To my chagrin, I checked the side yard garden today and found it parched from lack of water. That's what you get with sunny days that go on and on.
I just hauled out all the hoses and found my soaker hose needs a new fitting. Drat.
But I rigged up something and will be watering and moving sprinklers until it gets dark.

I think one of the feverfew plants croaked altogether. Bummer.

I'm going to pass on a link that Alimom put on her diary today. If you don't do anything else about this movie, at least watch the trailers. They are funny.
Well, mostly funny. I hadn't heard anything about this movie until today.

Ben

And now, from the nostalgic past, I am posting an old picture of the flowers in the back yard from several years ago, probably sometime in July. I may have to think about planting another wild and crazy wildflower patch again. These were awful pretty. It's just that a month later, it all kinda goes wonky and weedy seedy. But in their hayday, you can't beat them....

I've been tempted to toss a handful of wildflower seeds into the grass of the common area here. But the landscapers would come along next Friday and mow 'em all down. Tch.

    Bless

Dry? Day after day? There haven't been two sunny days to rub together around here. There are some things to plant, but I don't think they're going to do well in mud.

Wouldn't it be great to arrange an exchange? You send me sunshine, and I'll send you rain. Not permanently, you understand, just as needed.

    Hope that camera comes tomorrow!

    Hugs,
