Amnesia With A Side of Toothache
Wed Jul 02 2008

You know, yesterday just whizzed by and I completely forgot that I have a blog, and I should most likely have posted to it. I don't know what happened honestly. I just mentally gave myself the day off without consulting myself.

I know that sounds odd. It felt odd too when 9 o'clock rolled around and I realized that I hadn't written a thing, nor had I gotten the memo about not writing a thing.

I think I need to work on my personality integration skills.

(One can dream.....)

Well, you see I have obstacles.

I helped Hub Man put in a different transmission in our 'new to us' Mercedes. I have been driving a 1976 model. This one is a 1981! I'm moving up in the world! Anyway, I got to pump up the long handled jack that lifted the transmission into place. I also got my hands all greasy from looking through the toolbox for a # 10 allen wrench. It was quite the thing for me . I'm usually in the kitchen you see. But it was all worth it. I got to test drive it when he had it all in and it shifts like 'buttah' now.

Woo Hoo!

Belle went to the vet yesterday. She got several shots and whatnot. Turns out she weighs 12 1/2 pounds. Now that's a little Sheltie in my book.

You should have seen her. When we went into to office I was talking to the women behind the counter and Belle finally couldn't take the suspense a minute longer and put her little paws up on the desk so she could see the people! We all let out an 'awwwww'. You could get a toothache from hanging around her she is so sweet.

She *is* awfully cute and sweet.

I have a question. Does the Sheltie rescue group pay for the veterinary care for your foster pups, or is that something that you do as a donation to the cause? I'm curious because that could get expensive with older dogs.

I know about that amnesia thing - it happens to me on occasion. I hope your toothache feels better soon. Yay on your new car! :o)

I wondered what happened to you.
Let's not let it happen too often.
I may have to remind you.

    I shant risk it.
