Last night before going to bed, I peeked out the front door and was surprised to see it was snowing! A pretty good clip at the time. But as it got light this morning, I saw that it was just a bit of a tease.

But it IS our first real snow of the winter. So, I wanted to acknowledge it.
It wasn't long though before the sun came out.

There in the middle of my worktable is my latest project. I bought a passport sized traveler's notebook and filled it with two home made inserts, two plastic card holders, and a calendar insert. I am using this as my wallet. I had a LOT of fun fussing with it to make it as functional as I could manage.

It's hard to describe my fascination with paper, and small book making. I suppose one rather obvious reason is the fact that writing is such a calming and centering activity for me. It's practically magic how it calms me down to scrawl with a favored pen on carefully chosen paper. It's relatively cheap therapy. Only thing is the drawer full of journals from the last 45 years is going to be a source of angst for my offspring I'm sure. I will just apologize now and get it over with.
(I think it's going to take a little more than that to make up for the chaos in that drawer. I've seen it. It's a flippin' mess.)
I won't even try to disagree with you. But at least said offspring get to enjoy a mentally stable mother in the meantime.
(You're claiming that now, are you? Interesting...)
You are NOT my therapist.
(Well, you have that damn straight.)
Don't you have anything better to do?
(Nope. This IS my job.)
How do I fire you?
(Sorry Cupcake, I'm Legacy Hardware.)
Sigh.....

Nice little snow you gotmthere Yetzirah today it was around 53 degrees and all our snow melted and it just looks like dreary winter out there but you know spring is right around the corner
The first snow is always nice. Where I live, we've had snow on the ground since early December, so I'm pretty tired of it, especially since it's just dirty, ugly snow.
I love your ( ) conversations and banter. Thank you for the needed smiles. ;)
