Sunny The Clueless
I'm headed north in the morning.
Sunny watches the growing pile of luggage and oddments that sits by the front door with a nervous eye. She can never be assured that she will end up in the car with said pile when the time of departure arrives.
Oh Sunny of little faith.
Little does she know, she is headed for 3 days of frolicking with my brother's dog Tootsie. For dogs.... it's the forever NOW. And right now she is happy. I'm home, I don't have shoes on, and the food bowl is full. All very good things in Sunny's NOW world.
I wonder if we might wipe that doggy grin off her face if she realized in about half an hour she was going to be in the bathtub.
I guess that's the beauty of being a dog. You don't fret over upcoming weirdness. And when it's over, it's over.
I think I could learn a thing or two from this dog.
Next entry, God willing, will be made from a higher altitude.

So often it would be nice to only know 'now'...although when I give my rabbit a bath I have no way of telling him that if he kept still it would be over with quicker...

Do a little frolicking yourself while in the highlands. There is nothing quite so healing to a soul made weary by the world's craziness as singing on a mountain trail or dancing in the moonlight under the tall trees.

Please inform ImNotLisa that it's been in the High 80's and working it's way back up to the mid 90's. At least the nights are cooling off.
You might want to stop by the office and stock up on surgical masks because the smoke is THICK and the wind has blown it all into the valley. It was windy again today so MAYBE it will blow it in another direction for your visit. Coming for a dental appt. is bad enough but let's not add insult to injury. The moon was a wonderful shade of red orange last night.
