Yom Kippur followed hard on the heels of my trip north, so I didn't have a chance to write anything.
I thought I was going to get a break from the heat while I was up there, but no dice. It was just as hot. And no air conditioning! I was a little wilted most of the time.
When I got home, to our immense delight, the morning of Yom Kippur found the temperatures down about 20 degrees from the day before. It makes for an easier fast when it's cooler.
Even though the new year was a over a week ago, it now feels like a real new year. It's 5770 in the Jewish calandar in case you were wondering. Seems an auspicious number eh?
I have plans.
More focus. Fewer excuses. More doing, less talking.
(.....ummm....I...)
Excuse me ( ), but shut yer trap.
Think happy thoughts.
Here's a picture from S.'s garden.
Meditate on this, and keep your sour thoughts to yourself.

Onward and upward.

On the pie front I'd have to say it's a three way tie between pumpkin, pecan, and custard but if I was pushed into naming a fruit pie I'd have to go with cherry. With the exception of key lime, there are very few pies that I don't like, lol.
