Perfection
Shabbat. Such a wonderful pause in the insistant world of time.
We will call today perfected. We will suspend our creative efforts. And take a peek at what might be. What is coming. What is completed. What is whole.
I sigh in relief. I laid down my worries for 25 hours.
He is a wise God, a very Wise God indeed, to tell us to make this day holy, to separate it out of ordinary time.

So take some of Shabbat with you into the weekday world. Let the peace of Shabbat and the love of G-d be with you 24/7. I read somewhere, "I'm going to sleep. G-d is going to be up all night, I'll let Him worry about it." Well, He's up all day, too.
