I'm toasting my toes by Bruce.
Home safe and sound.
Hmmm… let me rephrase that, safe and sounder.
I had a restorative visit with good friends.
For which I am very grateful.
The restoration AND the friends. :-)
While away, C. and I went for a hike down one of the forks of the Yuba river.
There's a wonderful covered bridge over it.
And I do mean wonderful...
It's in need of some restoration, but she told me there are plans afoot to do that. I hope they do, this is worth preserving!
Here are a few more views...
It was a wonderfully warm and sunny day.
Very unlike my drive home which involved varying amounts of rainfall. For about 50 miles of it, I would describe it as a deluge most welcome.
Sunny was glad to see me. Though I doubt that she suffered many upsetting moments, since she was with S. who takes such good care of everything that is in her charge. It's her nature.
I foresee listmaking in my future. I feel like launching into some new directions. Nothing earth shattering. Just re-focusing.
I have a project in the works.
Details will follow. I'm in the 'assembling materials' phase right now.
It's good to be home.
