Mon Jul 07 2003 - Liberal Leftovers
Liberal Leftovers

Oh so tired of driving in the car.... but happy to be home.

We fried up the fish the kids caught and ate a million leftovers that mom sent home and could still feed another army of people with the left left overs.
(Does that make them ultra liberal leftovers?)

I don't know if I can eat them now, being a good Republican and all :-))))

Am not at all ready to go to work in the morning, but will muddle through somehow. I DID get my first paycheck. Well, automatic deposit, that I looked up on the bank site on the internet. I stared at the amount and tried to feel some sense of accomplishment. But frankly, it was a little anticlimactic.
Is that how you spell that? I don't have spell checker in here, more's the pity. Anyhow, the money did not seem to make up for the aggrivation. At least not the amount that they gave me. I am trying to think of a figure that would make my eyebrows go up and have me thinking, .... Well, THAT was worth doing!

But I don't think they have THAT figure in their budget :-)

So off into the fray... a new week. Who knows, things may turn around and I will be busy as a bee. Time will tell.

Sorry I didn't catch a glimpse of you while you were in the mountains....but I wasn't really expecting to due to logistics. It's always fun to come home with oodles of good leftovers but they never seem to last long enough. I had a good visit with my grandkids even though it was hotter than 'you know what'! Be good.....D.friend

I like the image of you seeing a figure that makes you raise your eyebrows. I know what you mean. At least the work won't last for too much longer. ;-)

It would have looked a whole lot better without 33% of it taken out.

Ah, well....
