Look What The Wind Blew In
Thu Dec 01 2011

Well, here she is... little Coco.

She blew in on a very blustery day today.

Unfortunately, her owner passed away about 2 weeks ago.

She’s timid and so sweet.

Poor dear, I’m afraid Ben and Sunny seem like elephants and goofballs to her. All that running around and chasing stuff is VERY unnerving. I’ll be curious to see if she gets over that and joins in the Ben and Sunny circus before her stay with us is over.

Fiona is unperturbed, as she was not chased on sight, all is well.

It’s been an uneventful first day, which is a good sign all in all.

Let the adventure begin.

Sigh.

Can I have her for my very very own doggie?

(Here we go again....)

What’s going on?

I think they just added a shrimp to the cast.

I don’t think she has any talent.

Neither do I.

She doesn’t have ‘IT’.

Nope.

It was too crowded in here already.

Exactly.

I don’t think I like her.

Me either.

Boooo!

    Dear Coco,
I am very sorry to hear of the passing of your human. I'm sure you were very close. You have come to the most right place in the world to recover from your loss and you will feel much better very soon. I know it will be hard for you but don't get too attached to that wonderful lady who feeds, walks and brushes you. She's temporary "intensive care" for you until your perfect Forever Home is found.

I know you find this hard to believe right now but you will grow to love those ruffian canines that were there to greet you. They are very nice dogs and they will teach you to play their games if you will allow it. The more fun you have with them the less time you will have to miss your person. You'll feel like a puppy again in no time, I'm sure. Just wait until you get to go out into the Great Field. There is a beaver there! I've seen the pictures! It's a wonderful place with a bazillion new smells. I promise that you will love the Great Field.
