Of Bugs And Bookworms

I made a big mistake and went to a game site on the internet.
I made another mistake and played a game there.
I made a third mistake and downloaded the game onto my computer.
And I would like for you to join me! Bwwwwaaaahhhhaaa!
If you like word games, you might enjoy this one:
Bookworm
It is one of several games on that page. If you like it, download it. If you download it I dare you to beat my score of 114,510.
It will be the honor system for reporting scores because I don't want to pay to register my score on line. But if you trust me, (and you can) .... that is my real score. (As of today anyway)
I fully realize that some of you may kick my fanny at this game. But it's pretty fun anyway you look at it! Oh, by the way, I played the classic game, not the timed game.
I have enough pressure in my life right now!
I have three whole quarts of tomatoes cooling on the counter after their water bath experience. (We used to do MANY more than that at a go, but hey, my garden is smaller now.)
Spent some time trimming and tying up the potato vine bush earlier this morning.
You know you have been down and dirty in the garden when you come in for a drink of water, feel an odd sensation and reach up to pull an aphid out of your ear. I guess it looked like a safe place to hide to the little buggy beastie. But he never made it.
It's time to turn on the AC now I think. I wait till it's 80 degrees in here. It feels about that now. I'm going to check....
HA! 81!
Bookworm anyone?

Aha, yes, I know this game well. I already downloaded it a while ago, but was wise enough not to do so again once the version ran out of time. I totally loved that game and would buy it if I could afford to. Can't recall what my highest score was, though. I'm too busy these days to go over and try it again, so don't tempt me. ;-)

Oh, Bummer!!! Looks like I don't have the proper Java reader, or whatever it's called. Adobe, yes. Java, no.
Not only that disappointment, but...
I bought a CD with 500 solitaire games (hoping to find Scorpion on it), and now I can't install it. Sez if I have XP/2000 I should install it under an account with Administrator rights.
???
Also, I bought a crossword puzzle CD, and it won't install.
It just isn't my day for puzzles.
Shalom

When it come to insidious addiction, nothing beats Snood (at snood.com). It's a free download.
Let me know what your best score is.
