Summer Bowls

So today it is supposed to be 97 degrees out.
I know, I'm not supposed to whine. The rest of the country seems to be in a kiln this summer. But these are our first days of real heat.
I've been keeping busy, making these little gems...
I saw the pattern on Ravelry and decided they were just what I needed. Small, lightweight, colorful, summer knitting...
They appeal to my simple nature.
(Simple minded you mean.)
( ) , I am more complex than you can possibly imagine.
(Oh sure, throw a tub of yarn your way, accompanied by a plate full of cookies, and no one will see you for hours on end. That's VERY complex.)
Hmmm… what KIND of cookies are we talking about?

Lovely bowls!
And I like your new background here, too - very soft.

Ok...you inspired me with the grey / colorful edges. I went out today and bought grey with a neon green for the edge. Will do another flower bowl. Photos soon!
