I haven't seen a ringneck in these parts for years. When I was a kid they were common - we had a birdfeeder in the yard outside the kitchen window and I'd have breakfast in the morning while watching the pheasant cocks duck it out under the birdfeeder for the feed on the ground.

Now look what you've gone and done. You've made me all wistfully nostalgic.
