Limited Military Operation

I am headed out to do grocery shopping. I need to go to four different stores. I feel like I'm planning a military operation. Somehow I also want to try and fit in a visit to a knitting get together I read about on Ravelry.

This will necessitate some kind of ice chest for the trunk, as the thing doesn't start until 1 in the afternoon and goes till 3, and I don't want to be grocery shopping that late in the day. I'll have to do it before hand.

But I really do want to check out this group as it's in the daytime and is held near where I will be shopping anyway. Of course it doesn't hurt anything that the yarn shop is on the way there too....

It's raining out. That adds its own . . . charm.

Today I wish I had a little platoon to do reconnoiter, logistics, driving, lugging consumables, putting consumables away and hot tea fetching for me. (The knitting get together is in a coffee place.)

As it is, today I'll have to be an Army of One.
