Art In Unexpected Places

So now that I know we have edible peaches on the tree, I am going out each day to pick the ripest ones. The ones that have turned a bit yellow in the light areas instead of green. I came across one this morning that had a little surprise on it.

No, it's not a bug or a spider or a bird turd....

(Really....was that necessary?)

Just funnin' ya.

Looks like an ordinary peach right?

Well, look what was hiding under that leaf...

Wait for it..

(The magnitude of you infant-like glee at minutia takes my breath away, you know that?)

Anyway, here it is...

Interesting eh?

How quietly that leaf has lain there blocking the sun all these long months.

Solar Art.

(Sigh.)

(Yes, yes, that's just amazing. I think I have a freckle on one of my thesises... want to take a picture of that too?)

There's no need to get snarky. Just for that, there'll be no peaches for you.

(. . . .I'll TRY to get over my disappointment.)

Simply amazing.

I checked my tree this morning.
I have some peaches!! Not many, but a few.
Now if they'll just stay on the tree.

Tell () that there's nothing wrong with child-like [notice I said -like, not -ish. There's a big difference] delight in even the simplest discoveries.

That's a gorgeous peach, and the leaf print doesn't detract an iota from its beauty. Nor, I would wager, from its tastiness.

That is so cool!

Didn't have to do that with the first card. I'm at a loss.
