Soggy/Chilly

Well, April has arrived in all its damp chill... The rains have been very welcome. I don't mind the coolness either. I'm not holding my breath for the heat of summer anyway. I'm here writing this entry to kill some time while my latest experimental knitted bag sloshes around in the washing machine. It's made from some of the last bits of hand spun yarn made by P. I only have about 2 ounces of it left now. I may have to make a little teardrop pouch out of it. And I have the perfect button for it I'm pretty sure. That yarn is so close to the fleece that it still feels alive in many ways. That is why I like working with it so much... I should take the dogs out for a run, but I admit to a powerful fear of ticks. I'm not in the mood for finding one crawling through my scalp, as happened last time I took them out to the fields. Drat the little buggers. [The ticks, not the dogs.] Now the good thing about chilly April weather, is that it is a great opportunity to make a cup of my new favorite drink... My oh my, this is some happy cuppa warmness. If you have a Trader Joe's near you, it's worth a trip to snag some of this stuff. You don't have to use as much as it calls for either to get a nice tasting drink. The directions call for hot water, but I make mine with hot milk. Very decadent and comforting. Hub Man likes it too. So I was forced to go out and buy four cans of it. (FORCED is a pretty strong word don't you think?) Well, I did it in self defense. I didn't want to run out. Our tastes in foods usually runs along different paths, but this time we have come upon a harmonic convergence in the culinary department. The first can is almost gone. We're on a Chai Latte JAG, to put in mildly. Well, back to haunting the washing machine. I'll let you know how the experiment turns out...

Have you tried Tazo or Yogi Chai? Not powdered but delicious.

Sounds great! I've been looking for a really good chai latte, and you've beat me to it! Now I just have to gear myself up for a trip to Trader Joe's. The one I currently have is Stash Tea's version, and to be blunt, it sucks. I shall try the Trader Joe's in a can variety, it sounds great!
