Sparkly!

It's cold today. Bruce and Eva are both on duty. It's like 49 degrees outside and cloudy. It keeps trying to rain, but hasn't quite made it yet.

I decided to try something I have never made before. And frankly, have never eaten either. I remember them being an item that was brought to picnics when I was a child. At the time they looked scary, and definitely nothing that a person should be eating.

I sent this photo to one of my sons and he said they look prehistoric! I could not agree more. Like some enormous incubating fish eggs or something.

I am not supposed to really eat these for two weeks. They are marinating in the refrigerator, presumably contemplating the meaning of life.

Or something.

(Those look wrong. Just wrong. Don't eat them.)

I know. They do. But I will. At least one bite.

I'm glad I have to wait. It's going to take time to gather my courage.
