I asked my friend S. for a start from her Spider plant the other day.

Then, my friend B. dropped off a pup from her Snake plant soon afterward.

So now I have two new plants with names of creatures I am not that fond of.
But the plants? Yes, thank you!
I tend to start new plants in pots that are really quite a bit too big for them, as I am not that fond of transplanting them. It's a nerve- wracking business. So, they look just a bit lost in their pots right now.
It's been rather dull around here otherwise. I'm glad January is past us. It seemed to go on and on if you know what I mean.
Sometimes if we are lucky, February can give us some truly amazing weather. False Spring. They say it's supposed to be 65 degrees here in a few days. I think that qualifies. I have a few things to do out in the garden and that kind of temperature may lure me to attempt them.
Someone needs to remind me not to start planting Sweet Pea seeds or anything crazy okay?

(Yeah, but Cupcake... you NEED some of these. Now.)
I'm not listening!
