That's a nice hat pattern. Love the cable detail. I should knit this for my mom. She showed up at my house last weekend with the worst hat I've ever seen. She was in a parking lot one day and saw a woman in a red coat and hat approaching. She told the woman she looked so colourful and perky and loved the hat. The woman whipped it off and insisted she take it! Seems she knits alot of them. Soounds good, right? Not, it is a bright red piss pot! Looks like one of those crocheted toilet paper covers! We laughed ourselves silly when we saw it. My poor Mom! she refuses to wear it now, thank god!
