I had determined last night before going to bed that I was going to spend today and most of tomorrow cleaning up this house. My two weeks of cat sitting are over and my time is all my own again. So I got up this morning and started to collect stuff to throw in the garbage. The only thing is, every move I make is shadowed by three dogs, who seem to be convinced I am up to no good and need watching.... closely.
I would put them out in the yard, but Snoopy is such a barker that his following me around is less annoying than the bark bark bark, so here he is underfoot.
In all my straightening up, I came upon my work table next to my chair in the living room. I didn't know where to begin. So of course took the easy way out and decided to blog about it instead of actually DOING something with it.
There are times that I just don't know HOW I get so many things going at once. I used to be a single minded person. But somehow in my recent years that quality has gone by the wayside and I'm turning into a bit of a dabbler in this and that person instead.
Here's the latest pile o'projects.

(Don't give me any crap about 'creative genius' there Cupcake, that's a mess right there...)
I admit it.
I own it.
I can even say I'm beginning to LIKE it.

Besides, a tidy work area is the sign of a cluttered mind!
I don't see a mess.
I see some interesting books and a fabulous lace border, but nothing that resembles a mess. Perhaps you should put on your glasses so you can see it more clearly. ;)
I see a place where someone is CREATing some great stuff.
Create. Good word. My word for 2010.
You can't possibly create and clean at the same time.
We DO have our priorities SIL...
BTW - I did not get notified of this entry!!
Grrrrrrrrrrrr...............
I agree with the 2 blind people, oops I mean Stitch and Mama. I got a huge smile and a bit of a chuckle at all you have going on with that table. I suggest moving your projects to a bigger table.
