Today I was rewarded for all my weeding in the garden.
I picked the first batch of strawberries.
Among the deliciously delectable morsels, there was an oddity.
A strawberry with a 'beauty mark'.
S. says it is just a little one that got stuck there, but I'm going with the oddity explanation. It's more fun.
They looked lovely in the evening sun, eh?
Wish you could taste them. My oh my. Besides the taste, it's their texture. Not crunchy. Soft and creamy inside. No hollow insides. Proper strawberries. It's good to know they still exist.
(You have strawberry breath.)
Yes, isn't it divine?
