At last.
This is the year of the Sweet Pea in my garden.
My strategy of planting a gratuitous amount of seed paid off. Though our cool and moist weather was the real bonus. It was everything that they needed to thrive.
The light was wrong in the garden for photos of the plants, so we will have to content ourselves with more intimate shots.
I wish with all my heart I could include a little link you could click on to be able to inhale their delicious fragrance.
Alas, we must wait a little longer for that technology.
It's a gentle and beautiful morning here at Heartwood Cottage, and I'm grateful for every blade of grass and blush of petal in all of my little domain. And even more grateful for my long awaited Sweet Peas to grace my Shabbat table tonight.
