Little Red Apologizes
Mon Sep 17 2007

[album 65561 GoofyHen2.JPG]"Sigh.
It is such a lovely Monday morning.
Cool breezes outside.
Sunshine.
Our canning is finished for now.
We could be enjoying a nice knit-in
or baking session.
But no.
She Who Must Not Be Named
has been reading again.
I apologize for the following
downer information.
I just couldn't stop her.
She thinks it's important
for us to ponder this quote.
She keeps mumbling to herself
that this is the root of the whole problem.
Whatever that means.
I rarely understand
why she gets so worked up
about these things.
Maybe next week I will be able
to impart something more cheerful. . .

One can hope."

"Allah did not create man so that he could have fun. The aim of creation was for mankind to be put to the test through hardship and prayer. An Islamic regime must be serious in every field. There are no jokes in Islam. There is no humor in Islam. There is no fun in Islam. There can be no fun and joy in whatever is serious."

    Sad. No joy. No fun.

    Why bother?

    Bless

What a sick, sick philosophy by which to live. I'm going to stop here so I don't start a rant.

So, we aren't supposed to see the beauty of the world that God created? We are to feel no joy for that beauty nor the joy of interpersonal relationships? If we are not to feel joy, then why was such an emotion instilled in us?

In my opinion, it's the joy, along with faith, that get us through the dark times. But what do I know? I'm just a lowly female

    you know
the life giving word is the ring and we are all the ring bearers of the universe the lords of the rings struggling to the burning fires of mordor
where the ring willbe engulfed in the fires of doom
and then all that is left is the peace that surpasses all understanding you know the hebrew word

That has to be the saddest quote I have ever encountered.

How different this so called "religion of peace" is from the joy our Heavenly Father intended for His children.

There is a scene in Pollyanna where she is talking to the local preacher about her father. In talking about a game he used to play she quotes him something to the effect of "if God had not wanted His children to be happy and rejoicing then why would He have included so many "happy texts" in the Bible?" I forget the exact number, but it was in the hundreds.

There are none so blind as those who will not see and none so sad as those who fail to see the love of God and the great peace and joy that He offers in such great abundance.

"Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing."

Sure doesn't sound joyless to me.

I think I'll stick with the Lord of Lords; the the King of Kings and sing with joy the song He has put in my heart.

    Halleluia, sing Hosanna.
