Please Mr. Postman
Sun Aug 29 2004

I ran across an article that I enjoyed very much and want to share with you.
You can read it here:
Ben Stein

I also wanted to share a photo today, but I can't because my check to renew my Dear Diary Premium Account is still on it's way to England.

Oh Britania!
Snail mail takes so long to get to Thee!

So I am sans my Premium smiley face at the moment. I will try to muddle through until the post arrives.

It's been a quiet day here. Introspective.

Not long ago my mother gave me a little book of quotations. This one resonated today:

"I find the great thing in this world is, not so much where we stand, as in what direction we are moving."

Goethe

I don't know if you know about this, but.. your title for today is the same title as (no, not the song) a porn flick...

Just thought you'd want to know.

How do I know about it? Um... er... (cough)...

Chock it up to a mis-spent youth. I think I saw it somewhere in the same time vicinity as when my hair went screaming-pink.

Youth is wasted on the young.

Thank you for posting the link to Mr. Stein's column. It was a very enjoyable read that left me with much to think about.

RYC: Yes, it went thru in private comments. (BTW: Did you get mine yesterday?) Thanks for the help and the heads up about not being logged in. That would not have occurred to me.

It is quite frightening how much we have in common isn't it? I think you'll enjoy the rosehip tea it's fruity without being too sweet.

Criminy I guess my Premium account will be up for renewal soon.

    Hugs back atcha
