Thank you for the birthday wishes.

My email inbox was crowded this morning!

The passage of time is a mysterious thing. I would try to dissect it, but it's a mystery see? So that would be a waste of time. Suffice it to say that I am stunned that I have been on the planet this long. Grateful. But stunned.

My neighbor had a love seat she decided she would pass on to someone else, and I was lucky enough to be that someone. It now sits in my computer room. I had to give up a glider with a matching stool to make room, and I passed those on to a family member.
Musical furniture is what it is.

Anyway, Ben approved and took up residence immediately. He's so sweet, I let him have it. He lets me sit on it whenever I want. So it's working for us.

Sunny prefers a certain quilt by the back door....

I have a huge quilt spread on the floor in front of the slider in the winter because of the muddy paws that come in from the patio. It works great.

 It looks ratty. 

I prefer the working great part, so put up with the ratty.

Well, I'm off to the library to return a book and for some whacky reason I want a strawberry soda. The ones they sell at Wal-Mart. [Crush?] I'm not much of a soda drinker. But once in a while I like to have one. My birthday seems like an auspicious occasion.

Hub Man and I are going to go see Inkheart on Sunday. It comes out today, but he's at work, so we will wait till Sunday. The other thing I like to do on my birthday is go with him to Barnes and Noble and get a few books. We don't stay in the same parts of the store for long, but it's nice to go together anyway. I'm drooling on the blank journals and Judaica and he paws through the magazines.  It works for us.

So hey ho, here I go and I hope you have a nice weekend all...
