Small Experiment

I am trying out something I found on David V 's diary. If it is working properly, there should be music playing.  If not, I have fouled up again. Nothing new there eh?

Ummm.... if you see some code at the bottom of this page. Click on the top link and maybe the music will play for you.
It is SUPPOSED to play on its own.  Grrrr.  David V if you happen by here, tell me what I have done wrong.... Hmmmm I may try using Bloggar instead of this DD editing window...

Ignore me, I'm geeking.

You will be happy/sad/puzzled/indifferently blase' to know.... [take your pick] that the Really Real Traveling Journal is en route to its new contributor as I write.

Happy landings!

I DID end up sterilizing a pan full of soil in my oven yesterday. The oft warned of dreaded "stink" never materialized. I concluded in smug arrogance that it is because I have perfect garden soil that would not stoop to stinking under any circumstances. Even the indignity of being treated like meat loaf.

The tomato and eggplant seeds have been tucked into bed where after their long sleep, I expect them to fairly spring out of their little pots and ask, "Where's the garden, that I may flourish in it?" With Inigo like passion.   [ movie reference....Anyone? Anyone?]

Today if all goes as planned, I am heading out with my neighbor D. to check out the new Ikea store that everyone has been yammering about around here. I may yammer too after I have seen the sights. We shall just have to go find out for ourselves now won't we?

There WAS a little thunder yesterday. But nothing to write home about. . . .

Er..... but I guess it was enough to write about in here though.

You know, you all really deserve some kind of medal for putting up with me......

No music.

I hope your seedlings realize what a perfect growing spot you've created for them, and that they will show their pleasure by being prolific!

Glade you got the music to work. Also the music you picked is very nice.

Bummer, the sound didn't work for me. ;-)

Two things:
We had thunder here, too.
And...
I totally *heart* Ikea! I found my Shabbos candle holders there. They aren't traditional candlesticks, just blue glass tea light holders, but they work for me and look nice, too. Happy shopping! Oh, save a couple of bucks for one of their cinnamon rolls at the snack bar, they are awesome!

Hugs,
~Cali

I had to click on the link to get the music which, by the way, was very nice.

I have never been to an Ikea store...we haven't one in our area...but I have a friend who loves them. Will be interested to get your take on it all. :)

I knew it was Princess Bride too, but am only 47 weeks late in commenting on this post. ;o) Up at 7 on a Saturday to try to get things organized, must be fun, yes?

I had to access the link to hear music and it was very nice.

My niece has a lot of Ikea furniture items in her home and they seem to be very good quality and evidently reasonably priced according to her.

I wish we had one close to us.

Love you....Parett

P.S. I guess it's getting close to another drive up this way since I've come accross your name on the books lately.
