Mon Mar 28 2005 - Keep Your Eyes Open
Keep Your Eyes Open

I am off to work in about half an hour. Won't be home till late tonight.

The trickiest part of this job is actually getting to the person's home. Once I have been to ALL of the clients, it will not be a problem, but finding my way the first time is a little nerve wracking. I despise getting lost and being late. So since today I am meeting a new person, I am giving myself an hour to get there. Oy.

Today's weather is a textbook example of "fair weather cumulous" clouds. They are spectacular. When I went for my walk, I had to make myself pay attention to the path, I was gawking so at the sky. . .

I will leave you with the latest from The Little Red Hen:

"One can accomplish enormous tasks, if one is willing to do them one peck at a time."

Did you specify a maximum of miles you would travel??
Have a great day.
:P

Yeah, one peck at a time. I'm going to have that engraved on my forehead and all the walls of the house. I look at the whole chaotic mess and get discouraged before I even start the first peck.

Good luck with your new client. Maybe you should have a GPS in your car?

actually I agree with you my littled red friend most of the time
but sometime it is those magical jumps to arrive where we are going that make life thrilling although I wish they would happen more often

Hope you made it okay. Remember it's also not good to stare at the sky while driving. ;o)

I am very much the same way; I can not stand to be late and I get so nervous trying to find places the first time out. Thank goodness for Mapquest. lol

Little Red Hen is on target as usual. I heard a saying years ago that I posted over my washing machine. "Inch by inch anything is a cinch." It served as a great motivater as I worked my way thru the weekly mountain. :)
