Is Gravity Really Real?
Sun May 02 2004

In case you haven't checked back, there may be a few more answers from the Oracle in the previous post. I will not bother you again with a notify, lest you become annoyed.
The LAST thing that I would want!

That was a lot of fun! And thanks again to Roo for the idea.

I tried to update last night, but DD was down again. I wonder what is happening? Maybe there is a virus after all. Can you imagine the headache for our valiant Webmaster?

I am up early today to get this posted, as Hub Man and his oldest daughter are planning to go skydiving this morning. Has he taken leave of his senses? No, I think his senses filed for legal separation a long time ago. So they have taken leave of HIM!
But that is another story.

I am going along this time to take pictures. This makes me a bit nervous, hopefully the chutes will open early on and there will be lots of opportunities to take some "ants in the sky" photos.

After their safe return to Earth, Hub Man and I plan to go over to see the Pragmatist and see if we can get her computer up and running. I am sure you have noticed her absence, and believe me, it was not intentional! Her computer is throwing some sort of revolt, and all the circuits seem to have thrown in with the rebels. Between the three of us, we hope to get it squelched. That IS the proper turn of phrase, is it not?
Squelch the rebellion?

Anyway, I must get going. Busy day, what with yet another experiment to see if gravity REALLY works, and getting machines that I barely understand to work properly. All this and hot weather too! Remind me to take a water bottle.... for the heat, not the computer. And a camera, for the experiment, not the heat. And a sledge hammer, for the computer, not the weather.

(Somebody feed her breakfast, I think her blood sugar is low)

Ok he has more guts than I do. I'm afraid to take the risk. I have this fear that my chute won't open and neither will my backup one. I guess maybe that is something I should try and overcome but for now my feet are going to stay planted firmly on the ground. Hopefully they had fun.

    Take care,
