Fairbanks Ice Contest
For that last few days, I have been keeping track of the events in Fairbanks Alaska where the annual ice sculpting contest is taking place. Tomorrow is the final day of the contest. There is a web cam page that has about 10 cameras showing the ongoing work. What these people do with ice boggles the mind. Here is the home page link:

I always thought going to that would be fun. You'll have to check out Trebora's diary some time. He spent a couple years in Antarctica, off and on, and he's got some great ice sculpture pictures from there someplace in his last winter's entries.
