There was a break in the rain today. I decided to walk up to the creek. I obtained permission from two neighbors to walk through their fields. This cuts my walk in half and keeps me mostly off road, which I enjoy so much more.   I got a different view of the mountain from out there in the fields. Notice the threatening clouds! One of the reasons I wanted to go up to the creek today is that I could HEAR it from my front door. Turns out there's a logical reason for that...   It's running high. That's a felted blue bowl I hung on that branch with copper wire. Here's another view of the creek.   A few weeks ago, all that beach area was exposed. Not any more! On the way back home, it started raining. I took this video of some duck weed swirling in a little drainage ditch. Turn the volume up high so you can hear the raindrops.
