Speak Clearly Will You?

So I learned the log cabin knitting pattern and I can't stop making them.
Well, what I mean is I don't WANT to stop making them.
Here is the latest one, before felting:

I'm knitting a peacock blue back for it right now, I mean I will be knitting on it a little later.
(Are we having trouble getting our stories straight today?)
No, I've just become aware of the imprecise nature of language these days and I am just as bad as anyone else. I'm trying to do better.
(Worthy goal. Good luck with that.)

any fruitful occupation
is better than throwing
snarky comments around
with impunity.
I think it's a nice log cabin square.

(Have you been reading the dictionary again Red? Give it up.)

If I can just get this darn washcloth finished that I have on my size 8 needles I can try one, too.
Nice square.
I'm falling in love with the word snarky.
Snark. Snark.
Snark.
Nice square.

Are you doing that with left over yarn? I like the combination of colors. And what are you going to do with those squares?

I've always admired people who can take string and make something useful out of it. The log cabin pattern... very nice and simple (looking... I'm sure it's not so simple to make it).

I love the look of these. Look forward to seeing it after it is felted. When I pick up my knitting needles again I would love for you to teach me how to make one. What are you going to make with the squares?
