In response to some of the comments on my last entry....

I do not buy the cheapest bread available. Being a baker myself, I am a bit of a bread snob. I hate to admit that, not being the snobby type in most other areas of my life. But when it comes to bread, I want the best I can get. I almost always buy Orowheat brand. Though I must admit that the prices are getting silly, and the other day I baked four loaves for us in self defence, so right now we are eating homemade whole wheat bread which costs me about 95 cents a loaf to make (this includes the gas to heat the oven.... I figured it out one time!)

And I have no explanation as to the high prices of apples in my area. I suspect some sort of apple cartel is at work in the secret bowels of the grocery biz. I am appalled at the price tag, but I am at the mercy of the stores, because I like the blasted things. Maybe I should picket.

Here is a picture of my latest purse. This one got left in the washer a little longer than it should have, so it is rather small. But it is VERY nicely felted!!! I think I am kind of attached to this one myself and may have to keep it around for a while.

I am working on the handle of another one today, which is the last step, I may felt it tomorrow and show you that one too. This one is made from Galway yarn I bought, the next one is from Lion Brand fisherman's yarn that I dyed myself.

Anyway, I better get to work. My house needs some attention.

Well at least that explains some of the reasons for the high price of your bread, but still!

I love this purse, very very nice. You are so talented...

You always made good Bread!! Well my grandson the top gun GEEK put my computer back in GREAT shape and it is in a format I can fumble around on.
He even installed a program that backs up the hard drive each week without doing a thing on my part. So nice to have such a talent in the family.

The handles for some reason really fascinate me.
They just look so very strong. I can't describe it. They don't look like knitted straps. They look more sturdy.
    I love them all
Have you made any money on this venture??

    A bread snob... ha-ha-ha-ha
I buy bread that has 4 grams fiber .. it is around $3+ something a loaf. So I guess I also qualify in the bread snob category. ;-)
Long live the good bread connoisseurs.

I am back online. Sort of. Don't know how long it'll last.

    Is Orowheat kosher?

I found a bread at Albertson's and Trader Joe's that is very good. Whole grain, rye, wheat and soy available. But I can't remember the brand name.

I can't see the pictures on your entry. So I think I need to do some more work with the cpu or att. Either way, it took 15 minutes to get your entry to show.

    Shalom

If my husband goes to the store we end up with the cheapest bread out there.....ick, it is so gummy I can't eat it. In the long run it ends up being just as expensive as the good stuff since most of it goes bad because even the boys won't eat it.....now that's bad! lol

As usual the newest bag is a keeper. I really like the colors. It looks as though it would go with many an outfit.

I worked in a bakery for too long, there is no such thing as expensive bread in my book. You have to get the good stuff.
