Soliciting The Positive

Yesterday I went on a cybersearch for some counterbalance to all the alarming bad news that wafts my way every day.

I made a special folder in my bookmarks and actually named it 'counter balance'.  I added sites that have some kind of positive message. For me most of them were from Jewish sources. I would like to add some more variety but am not sure where to look.

So I'm asking for help.

Do you have a web site or sites that you go to every day that make you happier? [I recommend LOL Cats] if you haven't been there. Anyway I could use a fistful of positive to throw in the boiling cauldron of evil brew that cooks away on my computer screen most of the time.

Where do YOU go for something uplifting on the interwebs?

I like garden, homestead and yarn websites.
They usually make me smile and sigh a lot.
I especially like to think my garden can look a certain way someday. Always looking for new twists and ideas.
This is a good idea.
That quotegarden sounds good, too.
Thanks for the tip, Tim.

I go to www.worldnetdaily.com to get a good belly laugh out of all the fear and hate mongering there once in a while-- but I have to be feeling pretty strong, otherwise it just makes me sick that people actually believe all the lies told there.

This does the trick for me, more to lift up the corners of my mouth than anything else. Inspirational? Sometimes. Enjoyable? Always.
