Oh ,The Pressure
Thu Jun 14 2012

Sometimes when I am creating an experimental knitted item, there is this element of...TERROR that I have to get through. Especially when said item gets thrown into the washing machine after all my careful planning and changing and altering on the fly. I was totally winging it today as I tried putting a pocket on a bag. Something I don't think I have ever done before. The execution was nerve wracking. And I found that when I had finished sewing it on, I hadn't quite gotten it right. But I learned WHY, so next time I can do a better job. But we loves it for what it is. A pioneer. A forerunner. An adventurer. THE PROTOTYPE. So I want your opinion about the next thing. Should I send this to market with... Or without the charm... Or how about as a pair…? It's been a good knitting day around here. But I'm kinda creatively drained right now. I need to go on an artist's date. {Julia Cameron's suggestion from "The Artist's Way"] Perhaps it's time for an exploration of the woods. Lucky for me, the woods are handy by.

Sell the charm separately. You'll get more money, and someone might like it for their own purse.

I love it with the charm........ but Sallamander does have a good point....separates that can be combined and personalized as desired. Hmmmm, I do believe that puts you back to square one......... So glad I could help. ;)

I like the purse better with the charm too, but absolutely love the idea of making them and selling them separately to go with your purses! demo's are good, display lots of examples too.
