I'm a bit surprised at how many days have gone by and I haven't popped in here. Sorry. A friend sent me a link to a little felted chicken. Last night I knitted it up. There were a few problems figuring it out. Ripping out a substantial number of stitches occurred. (Do I sense a theme here?) Well, yes. That's what happens when you are knitting by the seat of your bloomers. Anyway, I felted it this morning. Here it is, still drying... Felt Chicken1   It's supposed to be an egg cozy.   *** I tried to make myself a little pouch to take with me on short hikes. I like how it turned out … a little wild... But turns out it is not large enough for the tools I want to take with me. I'll have to make a bigger one. Green and Purple   There's a LOT of knitting going on right now. But it seems like the perfect thing to do while the temperatures are so frosty outside. Though I feel a little…. driven at the moment. I think I have a slight case of cabin fever. Thank God for yarn and needles. They keep me balanced and sane. (Balanced maybe. But sanity sailed away into the void a long time ago Cupcake. A LONG time ago.)   lime wild

AWWWW cute chicken! I think I might have to take a page out of your book and make myself a bag for the little things I need to have on hand while out and about. Personally I much prefer pockets but my bellybutton has still not settled from my surgery so I am related to the few soft waist skirts I own rather than pants... I suppose I could make myself some elastic waist pants of skirts with pockets but I think a cute little bag would be much more fun :) Thanks for the inspiration!
