The sky has clouded over and to the southeast, I hear thunder. This has been quite the summer for thunderstorms. We usually don't have this many. Though this one doesn't seem likely to rain on us right here. I may have to eat those words an hour from now. 🙄

Today I followed a tutorial on YouTube. Creation Cee Cee. I like her work.

Though when you see this, you wouldn't think that it took me well over an hour.

She was teaching a shading technique and I kept stopping the video to catch up or to slow down what was happening on the screen.

But the main thing happened that is one of the biggest reasons I enjoy art of any kind... time took a vacation. I lost track of it altogether. There was nothing in my world the whole time, but water, paint, paper, and brushes. It's magical being out of time. I highly recommend it!

Now I have to find a worthy book to put this in to keep my place!
