Something wonderful happened last night.

It rained.

Oh not a lot. You could never call it a soaker. But water DID come down from the heavens. With a little lightning and thunder. Just a tad. The dogs and I got up to watch. It wasn't much. But it was rain.

Tonight Hub Man and I are going to the Harry Potter movie.

But to tell you the truth, I'm waiting more for the last book than anything. Movies are all well and good. But books.... well, they are the best.

It comes out next week.

Only thing is Hub Man and I may have a tussle over who reads it first. I suppose I can have it during the day and he can have the evenings. Otherwise we might have to get out our wands and have a wizard's duel for it.

(My money is on the short one with the attitude....)

    If it rained here, it didn't leave much of a mark. Not even spots on my windshield.

    I have Harry reserved at WalMart. Just waiting for an e-mail telling me to come take possession. I'd better read fast, so when the book disappears when Rena goes home, I won't be left in a state of What happened next???

    I've got my order in to Amazon, with a guarantee that it will be delivered to my door on the release date. I paid a few extra bucks for the delux edition, and I will anticipate wrestling the kids for the rights to read it first!
