In my slow progression through my 22 ink samples, I created this test page in stages over the last couple of days.
The samples are only 2ml, but are plenty to fill a pen two to four times depending on the size of the converter that holds ink in that particular pen.

My friend S. came upon me one day while I was filling a pen right after cleaning it and took one look at the situation and declared it 'fiddly'. And she would be right. There is a lot of fiddling going on when you play with fountain pens.
Here's the newest color:

The name means, Purple Japanese Beautyberry.
It's hard to capture the glowing quality of this ink in a photo. It's really beautiful in person.
Here's an artsy shot.

I have to say, that the light that comes through this south facing window is so much nicer as the sun makes its way northward. Most of the winter, I have a shade over the window because the sun is just so intense.
I'll be using this ink in two of my pens until they run out before testing the next one. I randomly choose one from the little basket they are living in right now. I don't want to decide. There are enough decisions to be made on any given day. It's fun to randomize some things. Keeps life spicy!
