Eyeballs and Ta Ta's and Blooms, Oh My!

I hied me off to the doctor factory this morning, bright and early. It's very close to my house and I am very grateful for that. In honor of Mamallama, I got my eyes examined. Being close to her odyssey with eyesight problems has given me an even greater appreciation for those little orbs working as they should... I was given a clean bill of health in the orb department. Though I did ask him if he could write me a scrip for a pair of glasses with no correction at the top and reading glasses on the bottom. Which he did. I am getting really weary of putting my over the counter readers on and off a hundred times a day. I may have good far vision, but up close I'm hopeless.
While I was there I gathered up my courage and went down the hall and did my annual ta-ta squishography. They even gave me a nice tote bag afterwards. [Ben and Jerry's Fudge Brownie ice cream would have been better, but you take what you can get.]
Then I picked up a prescription which I had called in the day before.
I was in and out of there in an hour.
I love Kaiser.
I really do.
This morning I went out into the back yard to find that my Four-O'clocks were blooming at 7:30. I wonder if their watch needs fixing?

In the spirit of full disclosure, they look quite ratty from far away. They are all overgrown and falling down. But close up, well, what can I say?
Brilliant.

Congratulations on the clean bill of health! I hear that is a wonderful feeling, but I wouldn't know about that. Anymore.
The flowers are beautiful. I bet you are bing hypercritical of their loveliness from a distance.

When I first came upon those flowers, my seed pkg called them Marvels of Peru... when I asked for them next time, no one knew what I was talking about. Then I discovered they were also four o'clocks, Ohhh! Whatever they are called, I love them, esp when you get a riot of colour all on one plant. Smart little things, they are, even if they can't tell time!
Glad to hear your orbs and ta-tas are well!

You got all that done in an hour??!! In the words of our favorite rabbi: Unbelievable!!
Whatever time it is and whatever distance it is, those four o'clocks are mighty cheerful.
Bless

Well, at least you could see your Ta Tas being flattened ;). Personally don't have to have that done again for another two years and that's just fine with me!

All of that in an hour? You poor/lucky thing! At least you didn't have too much time to think about any part of it. Eep!

You have reminded me I was supposed to do both those things this summer. I guess I'd better get moving.
Ratty or not, those are beautiful. I especially like the blue. Brilliant indeed! :)
