While I was traveling, I was working on a felted bag.
Since I was a little unfocused by being away from home, and also working on something a little out of the ordinary for me, it took way longer to knit than it should have. I even did some ripping out in order to fix something I had miscalculated.
But I DID finish it and late last night, threw it in the washer.
It's an unassuming little thing. But I like it.
I tried a linen stitch for the handle. I like the handle very much. But not how long it takes to knit that linen stitch. It's a maddenly lovely stitch, that you knit as if your feet were encased in a pool of molasses.
I also tried a different kind of decrease on the sides of this bag, which I rather like too.
It's a subtle thing that probably only I would notice, since I'm finding out lately just how OCD I can be about these things….
Thank you C. for the D ring. Can't believe I left the house without one in my knitting kit.
With the help of the person who actually MADE the charm, I think I have decided to add this one to the bag...
Not the best picture on this rainy day, but it's a lovely stone.
Speaking of Rain.
Never take it for granted. :-)
