I feel giddy!
Today the sun came out in full force. But the temperatures are still very low, so in many places, there's still frost on the tree branches and it's just gone 3:15 in the afternoon. The sun will be down here in about 20 minutes, so there's not much chance for any real thawing.
Mr. P offered to drive his pickup down to the barn, now that he can safely get in and out of that area without getting stuck. We threw a bunch of wood in it and he drove it up near my back door. I hauled five cartloads to my woodshed.
I feel SO much better now!
They SAY it is supposed to warm up for the next few days. If that actually happens, I may get out of the lane and be able to join the rest of humanity. And go SHOPPING!
