I had a small surprise today. The ink samples I ordered arrived two days before I expected them! So, I have had time to play with them a little bit.
These are Chromashading inks from Sailor. A Japanese company.
They are amazing!
I chose one to ink up one of my pens and see what they will look like with ordinary use.
I asked Grok (The AI from X) what Manyo Koke means. He gave me a long explanation. Manyo is an abbreviation of the name of a book of very old poetry called Ten Thousand Leaves. And Koke means moss.

I now have a project to swatch all these samples in my notebook and especially the swatch cards with the Cheshire cat face. These will look amazing on those! Looking forward to that. Each of these bottles will fill a fountain pen cartridge about 3 or 4 times! This should keep me busy for quite some time. 💗🖋️
