This morning I noticed that one of the two viola blossoms in my terrarium was starting to wilt. I didn't want the plant to use up its limited resources in making seed, so I plucked it. Panda was breathing on my knee watching my every move closely, so, knowing that violas are edible flowers, I offered it to him. Snatch. Chomp chomp. Down the hatch. Panda knows his wild edibles.
