I have made a prototype felted bag for a friend to take to her next Red Hat Society get together. Wonder if I might get a few orders???

Let's face it. Those colors ARE garish together. But evidently, that's the goal of the group. It's based on a poem about wearing red and purple when one gets old, defying convention. Well, this little gem fits the bill I would say !
Only thing is, every time I think I have the pattern figured out and think I can predict the results, I am sadly mistaken. Every yarn seems to felt differently, so you might think you have it a certain size, big enough for your purposes, but after the trip through the washer, the little things have a mind of their own. So, the title "One of a kind" is oh so true for these creations. I thought I was going to get a bag at least 2 inches taller than this one when I sent it into the Maytag. Ah well!
We shall see if anything comes of it. I'm still in the learning curve, I can tell you that much. You see, I haven't made enough mistakes yet to be called an "Expert" !!!
