A Notice Of Nothing
Mon Aug 22 2005

I have reached a place today where the things I am inclined to think about and write about are not necessarily things I wish to launch upon the cold cruel waters of the interworld.

It's kind of like thinking you might be pregnant, but have not been to the doctor yet to confirm the facts and you don't want to go blabbing it about to all and sundry and then admit, red faced later that you had spoken too soon.

That would be me right now.

Though there are more things on the table than early pregnancy tests.

[I think that was some kind of really bad pun.....]

In any case you may assume I am pregnant with thought. Gestating the possible ways things will eventually be manifest. What can I tell you? There should be a blogging term that one could post that says something like....

"Watch this space. Thinking going on in the really real world."

"Or events unfolding slowly. Anything I write now may have to be denied later."

Something I wish the news networks would practice more of come to think of it!

So, suffice it to say that events are unfolding in a less than a "wired for high speed internet" way, and when I have some information to impart, I most certainly WILL.

Because after all, this is a blog. And we write all kinds of silly stuff here, including that we really don't have anything to say right now.

(That's silly.)

So are you.

"Really. WHY I continue
to allow myself
to appear here,
I haven't a clue.
After all, I have
WORK to do!
Cluck. Cluck. Cluck."

This is a test. This is only a test. In no way can you consider it as more than a test of the pregnant people club.

    Will you be joining?

You'll have to pass the test first.

Good luck. Hope it's an A average.

There should be a pregnant thought test.

Unfortunately, unlike real pregnancy tests, failing it would be a bad thing.

Whatever "pregnant thoughts" you might have, I'm sure are worth waiting for in this space.

My thoughts lately have been full of aaaarrrgghh!!! and duh! So I don't write about that kind of stuff. Except maybe the aaarrrghgh! (see last entry).

    Shalom

i like the idea of that and i know what you mean: some things take time to come forth, some things begin as one thing but end up in an entirely different place and some things were never designed to be shared with the flotsam and jetsam of casual internet surfers
