Is there anything on this planet as satisfying as a saltine cracker with butter smeared on it?
It's the simple things, I'm tellin' ya. The simple things.

- From:Dustbunny3 (Legacy)On:Thu Oct 22 2009Yes there is !! homemade bread with real butter and Brown sugar topping glazed over in oven. I can still taste and smell it from my aunt Hazel wood stove 75 years ago.

Note to ( )
Some things don't need many words. In those two little sentences she took us back to childhood, comfort food and happy times. How can you beat an entry like that?

PS
[sorry about that ( )], the human got past me while I was checking out the peanut butter. And, speaking of, be very careful around that stuff. It smelled good, but it took me ten minutes to get it off the roof of my bracket. *sigh* - From:Allimom (Legacy)On:Sat Oct 24 2009Saltines with peanut butter are my favorite snack!
