I am here composing this entry, effectively putting off the chore that I have assigned myself today, which is to clean in the bathroom.
Notice I said "in the bathroom", thusly absolving myself from the irksome implication of cleaning "the bathroom" which of course would mean the "whole bathroom".
I have learned my lessons well from the FlyLady. If I thought I had to clean the whole thing today, I would not do ANY of it. I plan on doing HALF of it.
This rather goes against my usual philosophy, one of the tenets being, not doing anything half _ _ _ _ _. But I have seen the FlyLady Light and have learned to be content with a job half done. As it beats the heck out of a job not done at all.
I THINK this is progress.
We watched "Finding Neverland" last night. It was a very pleasant flick. I recommend it. Bring hankies.
I also have on hand the Lemony Snickett movie. But I have sternly forbidden myself from watching it until I have done my half-bath chores for the day.
Oh and listen, if you have never had it, you must find a recipe for ...... wait a minute....I'll get one for you.
Oh my goodness. I was privileged to have eaten it at a bride's luncheon yesterday and nearly swooned it was so perfectly delicious. The only thing is instead of tuna, the hostess had used smoked salmon. Oh my....
I suppose, now that I think of it, most of you know all about this dish. But is was new to me. It is the PERFECT meal in my humble opinion. I plan to eat it often all summer. Just wait till we can add some tomatoes from the garden as a side dish!
(Broiled with parmesan) YUM!
Well, enough of this, I must away to the nether regions of domestic engineering.
Wish me luck!
