The wind gusts.
The rain falls.
My garden is dancing.
This is just the thing for the garden, what with germinating seeds just under the surface of the soil. There's nothing like real rain to jump start the whole process.

I have just returned from various and sundry errands out in the blustery. I found a lime green and bright blue quilt at Ross to use in the car when the dogs come with us. It's very bright. Just the thing. And it was only 12 dollars!

Before I left the house, I mixed up some cookies and put the dough in the fridge. Now I have the happy task of baking them up. Some of them are going north in the mail to a certain birthday boy. That's almost the best reason I can think of to bake cookies.

    It never occurred to me that you would have to have a reason for baking cookies. But as long as you do, then bake away!!

    I'm sure the dogs will apprecite your choice of upholstery protection. :)

    Lol, just love that photo. We call 'em biscuits, though some young kids do call the cookies now. The influence of TV, I suppose. Sounds like a nice treat. The smell of them baking is to me the best reason to bake them. ;-)
