Golly Gee Batman, we just got back from seeing Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.
I'm such a dope. I should have taken hankies.
I have to say that old George redeemed himself at last. And it's because he touched the beginnings. He remembered his story. Fancy images do not a good movie make.
I realized as I walked out of the theater, that this particular saga has spanned almost 30 years of my life. And my whole generation has had this "myth" as a backdrop to other things in our lives. My oldest son was 7 years old when we saw the first Star Wars movie. I think that year we went to see it 3 or 4 times, and for those days, that was an almost unheard of thing to do.
We certainly took our time about getting out to see it, and frankly, it's because I was afraid I was going to be disappointed. I was wrong.
If you haven't been out to see it yet. Fear not. Go forth.
But mind you, . . . bring hankies. . .
And oh yeah. Thanks George. Thanks a lot.

I did see the original Star Wars, but Megan insisted that I go with her. And I did enjoy it.
But I still detest movie theaters.
Shalom
i agree, the final (3rd) movie did redeem itself mostly, more like 4,5 and 6 than the other 2
